Obituary for Lonnie M. Dixon

Lonnie Maurice Dixon was born December 8, 1963 to Lonnie Dixon Jr. and Joyce A. Dixon in Wilmington, Delaware. Lonnie entered into eternal rest on December 27, 2016.

Lonnie was raised in New Castle and attended the Colonial School District graduating from William Penn High School in New Castle, DE. He also attended and graduated from The Brandywine Beauty Academy to obtain his cosmetology license. Lonnie finished his apprenticeship and was last employed with Labor Local 199 as a Journeyman. As a laborer for the Union, Lonnie helped with the constructing of many buildings all over the state, including the New Castle County Police Department Headquarters, and The Wilmington Courthouse on King Street.
